My current fourth-year undergraduate students, Mr. Murakami and Mr. Matsumoto, presented their research at the 17th Forum on Data Engineering and Information Management (DEIM 2025).

Mr. Murakami received the LayerX Award (sponsor award), and Mr. Matsumoto received the Student Presentation Award.
DEIM also serves as the annual conference of the Database Society of Japan and is the largest domestic conference in the field of data engineering.

This was actually the first time I had my students present their research at a conference, and both of them delivered excellent work and presentations. I believe these achievements naturally led to their awards.
They are still fourth-year undergraduates and will enter the master’s program soon. I am very much looking forward to their continued growth.
